In part two, she reveals secrets for enhancing beauty, vitality, and well-being through the power of flowers and her all-natural methods.

Q: Your skin is exceptionally youthful. Can you kindly share three essential products that you can’t live without that would help guide someone in starting their skin rejuvenation journey, particularly those seeking to deflect wrinkles and other noticeable signs of aging?
A: I prefer an all-natural approach to graceful aging, and I personally use the entire Floralchemy skincare line to achieve youthful skin. However, if I had to recommend just three standout products to help someone embark on their skin rejuvenation journey, it would be the Immortelle Renewal Serum, the Immortelle Rejuvenating Cleanser, and the Rosa Flora Age-Reversing Flawless Glow Rose Crème. Additionally, I must mention that the Superflora Collagen Serum has also played a crucial role in my personal routine. Apologies for including an extra product—that makes four!
Q: You are known for your innovative research, discovery and development of floral therapeutics. Can you share one interesting finding from your research? How can this finding benefit our community?
A: In working with medicinal plants from Iceland I’ve discovered flowers that increase heart and brain coherence for improved synchronization between these two organ systems, allowing for optimal mind-body rejuvenation, homeostasis, and healing.
High heart and brain coherence is crucial for good health. It promotes emotional stability, mental clarity, better decisions, lower stress, and overall well-being. In short, it represents a balance between mind and body, improving thinking and emotional control.
I’ve formulated our unique floral elixirs with these exceptional key flowers sourced from the serene landscapes of Iceland, for comprehensive healing and rejuvenation of body, mind, and soul. A simple yet effective way to gain the numerous benefits of these vitality-important flowers is to take a few drops of the Wholeness Floral Elixir, then gently close your eyes, and breathe slowly and deeply in and out of your heart. As you do so, allow yourself to feel a sense of gratitude for the nourishing essence that the flowers provide.

Q: You’ve been an celebrated educator of natural medicine for decades. What are some of your natural daily practices that contribute to feeling and looking your best at fifty?
A: According to traditional medicine, simply put, aging is viewed as a process of drying out. I focus on consuming high water content natural foods and juices, including a homemade green juice with watercress, purslane and cucumber, to flood my system with rejuvenating bioactive phytonutrients, and life-giving minerals for juiciness and vitality.
As an overall approach, I’ve found it’s important to focus on nourishing my skin externally with the best ingredients in the world (which I’m passionate about sourcing for Floralchemy) while simultaneously adhering to a somewhat unconventional nutritional protocol to feed my body with renewing plant-based nutrients everyday to rejuvenate my skin and body to help slow and reverse aging. Twice daily, I consume Flora Beauty Vitaè with revered flowers that regenerate my body. I feel this step is vital to help me feel and look my best.
I feel that this inner and outer approach works well for me and it’s my joy to share my comprehensive system with people all over the globe in my health consultations.

Q: You travel the world researching medicinal flowers. What’s your favorite flower and why?
A: I have a deep bond with the flora of Iceland and one of my favorite flowers from its magical lands is called Lady’s Smock, often seen growing near waterfalls and streambeds. I use this pink beauty in our formulations to heal the heart and help people recover from trauma and hardship. I value its ability to dive gracefully into the ‘heart’ of the matter to gently cradle and heal emotional wounding for a greater feeling of freedom, peace and ease. You’ll find Lady’s Smock in several our floral elixirs including Heart Ease and Trauma Mend.
Q: You are an advocate for a positive life-affirming mindset. How does this influence your outlook on turning 50?
A: Our thoughts greatly influence our health on every level, and we have the power to choose what messages our body receives and processes. Personally, I focus on nurturing life-affirming and harmonizing thoughts that actively contribute to bringing health and vitality to my entire system. I reject the notion that advancing in years equates to an inevitable decline in beauty and well-being. Instead, I consciously avoid negative and unsupportive inner commentary surrounding the concept of 'getting old' and other fear-based thoughts. Instead, I focus on youthful thoughts that not only uplift me but also bring me genuine joy and lasting vitality.
